It’s been a while since I’ve done a post; I’ve been super busy working at Violent Lips and having friends from out of town visit, and tying up a few things before heading home to Philadelphia for Christmas break.

My roommate, my two girlfriends visiting from San Diego, and I went out to dinner at The Grove last night to see all the pretty Christmas decorations. This is my first time in Los Angeles in the winter time, and it’s very weird for me. I am so used to being bundled up in hat, scarves, and winter coat walking ankle-deep in snow with a hot cup of Starbucks hot chocolate. Even the thought of that just makes me excited to go home and really experience Christmastime again.

One of my all-time favorite looks right now is the high-waisted skirt with a leotard. I paired this long sleeve American Apparel leotard with my Rory Beca for Forever 21 black hearts 3/4 sheer skirt. I am obsessed with this skirt because the sheer fabric looks like leopard spots from far away, but really they’re hearts. Super cute.

I tried out my own variation of this hairstyle. I didn’t have any hair gel, so it’s a softer, less edgy version, but I still really like it.

At first, I was a little hesitant to do the black long sleeves with the long black skirt in fear of looking goth, but the hearts on the skirt and the exposed neck and back gave the otherwise dark outfit a very flirty essence. Black is always fabulous.
