This weekend has been a non-stop whirlwind of just filming and sleeping. Though, I was definitely filming projects much more than I was getting my beauty sleep.
My friend Harper-Rose came up to Los Angeles from San Diego to spend the weekend with me. On Friday & Saturday, we were cast as dancers in ABC’s 40th Anniversary of Dick Clark’s New Years’ Rockin’ Eve Hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Fergie. It was sooo much fun! We basically just had to get all dolled up and pretty and dance while being given a private concert from The Band Perry, Blink 182, Will.I.Am, and Taio Cruz. Not too shabby.
Then Friday night, after resting our sore dancing soles for a little, Harper and I regrouped and hit Hollywood to see a bunch of comedians perform at The Laugh Factory. So many great comedians were there: Aries Spears, Chris D’Elia, TJ Miller, surprise guest Daniel Tosh, and so many more! Lisa Ann Walter, who you all may know as the nanny from the Lindsay Lohan version of The Parent Trap, was the MC of the night. She was talking to me outside the club after the show complimenting me about my entire outfit (pictured below). At one point, she even asked “Are you a buyer?!” I said, “No, I’m just really obsessed with fashion.” She said, “Clearly!” It reminded me a lot of the time that Regina George punched me in the face. It was awesome.
Sunday, I was in Santa Monica from morning to late at night shooting a PSA against Distracted Driving. It was a lot of fun and I met a lot of great people! Tom Hanks’ brother was actually the director of photography and producer, so that was puh-retty cool.
Here’s just a few snapshots from the weekend!
Caught this little cutie in the Esmerelda costume playing in the fountains at the Hollywood & Highland Center.
Leotard: Borrowed this mesh-strap backless number from my roommate, but she got it from an actual dance shop; Black feather tiered skirt: Urban Outfitters; “Pauline” wedge heels in Wine: Shoemint by Rachel Bilson & Steve Madden.
How was YOUR weekend?
Stay glamorous. Rawk on.
